  • Arches National Park

Arches National Park is home to the largest concentration of sandstone arches in the world, some 2,000 in all. The park offers a great scenic drive and numerous good short hikes through the desert landscape for close looks at its most impressive rock formations.

Page was born in the early 1960's with creation of Lake Powell. It now serves as a base town for those visiting that wonderful body of water. The young town doesn't have much character, but it does offer lots of accomodations, some restaurants and plenty of fast food.

Parker, Arizona sits on the banks of the Colorado River and is a major destination for winter visitors and year round water recreation. This stretch of the Colorado River, known as the Parker Strip, is swift and often populated by river tubers, water skiers and fishermen.
