From Reno:

Take U.S. Highway 395 south to Highway 431. Head west on 431 to Mt. Rose Ski Area

From South Lake Tahoe:

Take U.S. Highway 50 north to Highway 28. Take Highway 28 north to Highway 431. Head north on 431 to Mt. Rose Ski Area
