Incorporating over 580 acres of land, the Austin Bluffs Open Space serves as an access to other Open Space areas in Colorado Springs. Austin Bluffs features several shorter trails and one longer trail that loops out of the park into Pulpit Rock Open Space, around the impressive Pulpit Rock formation, and back into Austin Bluffs.
Trails in the Austin Bluffs Open Space are quite scenic and feature some moderate climbing. Other users such as hikers and horseback riders frequent the Austin Bluffs area so riders should ride with care and respect right of way.
