Basic Directions

Directions from Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center: Go east on US 89A for about 20 miles to FR 8910 (House Rock Wildlife Area); turn south and go about 23.5 miles to where FR 8910 forks; take the left fork and go another 2 miles to FR 445H; follow FR 445H for about 3 miles to the end of the road. A short hike of 100 yards or so will allow you to look directly into Marble Canyon.

Description

Camping is not restricted to the developed campgrounds. Those who prefer solitude and privacy may camp anywhere within the Forest boundary, without a fee. There are some restrictions, however. Camping is not permitted in the meadows or within 1/2 mile of developed campgrounds, and is not advisable along main highways.
