Las Vegas Vacations by the Poolside

Description

Las Vegas is a hot city. Summer temperatures can climb above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s no wonder Las Vegas vacations often include an afternoon by the hotel pool laying out and sipping cocktails. In fact, most Vegas resorts spare no expense in designing their pools, and they constantly try to outdo other resorts in extravagance and luxury. As a result, some Las Vegas resort pools are spectacular, and knowing where to find them may determine the best place to stay. Here are a couple pools that we think top the list and will truly enhance your Vegas trip.

The Mandalay Bay Resort features the 11 acre Mandalay Beach. Here you can stroll and lay out on sandy poolside shores and dip in one of three pools (two of which are heated), a lazy river, three Jacuzzis, an adult-only pool, and a large wave pool with a sandy beach. If you’ve got the cash you can rent a cabana for $200-$1800 for various types. There are restaurants and cocktail bars on site as well as a gift shop. The adults-only pool is a little more... relaxed, and you must be 21 to enter. To top it all off, there is even a beach side casino where the atmosphere is so laid back your dealer will likely be wearing a bikini. Whether you’re here with the kids or you’re after an adults-only vacation, the pools at Mandalay will accommodate all your needs.

One of the most infamous pool areas in Vegas is found at the Hard Rock Hotel. This 5 acre retreat is smaller than Mandalay Bay, but its reputation is probably larger. This is because there are frequent parties and events at the pools. Sunday nights get ultra wild at the Rehab Pool Party, where hip hop music is pumped through the sound system—a sound system that is wired to be heard underwater. And Friday nights there is live entertainment by various artists. But you don’t have to party to enjoy this poolside retreat. The Rehab party area is separate from the more tranquil HRH Beach Club area, where you will be able to relax and chill. The Hard Rock has a total of three pools, all of which are heated. There are 4 Jacuzzis, a bar, food service from the Beach Club Bar & Grill, cabanas for rent, inner tubes and pool toys for rent, and even swim-up gambling. The Hard Rock pool area is perfect for both families and partiers.

These are only two examples of amazing poolside Las Vegas vacations you can experience. There are literally dozens of other outstanding pool areas at other resorts in town. Before you decide where to stay, make sure the resort you choose has the best poolside retreat for your needs and interests.
