This is an excellent beach for native littleneck clams and Manila clams. The best area for littleneck clams is just north of the access trail, but there are littleneck clams throughout the beach. This is also a good beach for geoducks below the -2.0 foot tide level, especially beneath the power transmission lines. There are some butter clams, eastern softshell clams and cockles on this beach, but they are not as abundant as the Manila and native littleneck clams.
This is an excellent beach for oysters. The area north of the access has has been heavily planted with oysters.
