Description

The South Yuba Trail offers mountain bike visitors riders a mix of great singletrack riding and area history.

The South Yuba Trail winds along the South Yuba River and features sections of climbing and moderate technical riding followed by a long rolling downhill section. The South Yuba Trail travels by the restored gold mining town of North Bloomfield and the remnants of the hydraulic mining diggings at Malakoff Diggings State Park.

The South Yuba Trail has several swimming holes along the way, which are a great way to take the edge off a hot summer day ride. Due to the amount of water in the area the mosquitoes can be fierce. Bug spray is recommended.
