Located in the shadow of 10,800 foot Ward Mountain, the Ward Mountain Recreation Area and Campground are set amidst a Pinyon-Juniper landscape. Wildlife in the form of mammals and birds abound. The Recreation Area offers many hiking trails which are open to biking, hiking, horses, as well as, winter recreation activities
